Kansas City's Trolley Run is the largest timed four-mile road race in the United States. It is organized annually by The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI).
CCVI had two business problems: Online registration for the event wasn't intuitive. And, the reason for the decades-old event wasn't being clearly communicated.
The Trolley Run is the largest annual fundraiser for CCVI. All funds raised from the race go toward critical programming at the center. To grow the race beyond its already successful size, it was important to make sure that runners knew their entry fee made the most impact possible.
A new design with clear information hierarchy that tells in detail what CCVI accomplishes with the raised funds brings the vision to the forefront while making race registration easy to achieve.
